_ Our organization has calculated our greenhouse gas emissions baseline using an enterprise carbon accounting platform that also allows us to manage our energy use, water consumption, and waste streams. This baseline helps to define a starting point against which future progress can be measured.

We recognize that corporate executive support is crucial for the success of our sustainability initiatives which is why EMCOR Group's President and Chief Executive Officer, Tony J. Guzzihas, brought together an Executive Team to drive the direction and context of our sustainability efforts. Our corporate sustainability implementation is led by a cross-functional sustainability team that includes our Vice President of Professional Services at EMCOR Energy Services and senior IT and marketing talent which draws on the varied expertise and unique vantage points that this kind of team structure affords.

_ Our organization strives to lease office space in commercial office buildings that are committed to sustainable practices.

Our organization practices the following as a part of our formal policy:

• Using green work procedures: Our San Francisco-based team implements a number of green work procedures such as a “low lights” policy, setting office printers to default double-sided printing, encouraging digital document sharing / review, discouraging superfluous printing and more.

• Green corporate events: Our San Francisco-based team uses food service providers for event catering that source local, seasonal food and implement sustainable best practices such as food donation, recycling and food waste composting

• Other: Our San Francisco-based team has a number of formalized resource conservation and sustainability practices in effect.

Our organization has made supply chain improvements through our:

• Office supplies: Our sustainable purchasing program includes buying 100% recycled paper, purchasing EnergyStar certified equipment, and purchasing office supplies and furniture that contain the highest percentage of recycled and non-toxic content whenever possible

• Marketing of sustainability:Our organization’s core business is energy efficiency and we market this core tenet of sustainability each and every day
