New Opportunities in Clean Transportation: Electric Vehicle Workshop for Leaders
On July 27, 2010 BC3 co-sponsored an Electric Vehicle Workshop at City View Plaza in San Jose, 2 blocks away from the Plug-In 2010 Conference. The event was hosted by Bay Area Climate Collaborative (BACC) and Bank of America in partnership with Lockheed Martin, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) and others. Participants heard an update of the Bay Area EV Landscape, fleet lessons from the field, a case study in commuting, and a breakdown of available funding.
Featured speakers were Rafael Reyes, Director of BACC, David Head, Fleet Manager for Sonoma County, Jennifer Paedon, Commute Program & Facilities Manager for Lockheed Martin, and Damian Breen, Strategic Incentives Director for BAAQMD. Participants were also treated to free passes to Public Night of the Plug-In 2010 Conference where several plug-in vehicles and charger technologies were on display.
