Our company executes the following internal GHG-reducing actions:

Energy-Efficiency and Production by installing energy-efficient lighting or CFL’s
Waste Management by providing Recycling

Our organization engages employees around sustainability and provides them with sustainable employee benefits.

PRINCIPLE TWO: COMMUNITY LEADERS
"We will be active leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area community to help combat climate change."

Environmental factors are important to our organization when selecting an office space. When doing so, we take the following environmental factors into account:

Minimal square footage
Virtual office space
Engage landlord in sustainable discussion
Operable windows
Lighting controls
Age of Systems and Overall Energy Efficiency
Indoor Environmental Quality
Janitorial Practices (including cleaning and waste management)
Reconfiguration flexibility/ minimize waste impacts

We have a green procurement policy. Moreover, our organization practices the following as a part of our formal policy:

Green supply chain contract
Use green work procedures
Green Coprorate events

Our organization has made supply chain improvements through our office supplies. We also engage employees on climate issues through sustainable resources/information for staff.

Our organization would be willing to share our experience about our community leadership as a member of BC3.

PRINCIPLE THREE: ADVOCACY + DIALOGUE
"We will advocate and dialogue with policymakers to develop the best business solution through, for example, supporting the Bay Area Council's advocacy platform on climate change."

Our organization would be willing to speak with the media about climate policy on behalf of BC3.

PRINCIPLE FOUR: COLLECTIVE ACTION
"Through the Business Council on Climate Change, we will collaborate and share best practices with other participating San Francisco Bay Area companies to help solve the problem of climate change."

Over the past year, members of our organization have collaborated with other BC3 members by attending BC3 events.

Our organization has staff with expertise in the following areas that they would be willing to share with other members:

Education & training
Internal communication
Public communication

We are also willing to provide testimonial within the BC3 network.

Finally, we feel that BC3 members can collaborate with one another to more effectively address climate change by providing more outward-facing consumer events and communications, rather than "preaching to the choir" amongst other BC3 members.

PRINCIPLE FIVE: TRANSPARENCY & DISCLOSURE
"We will each report regularly on our activities and progress towards reducing our climate footprint."
